OYAK Group (Re)Insurance Brokerage strengthens its position in the international global markets by means of the solutions it will provide from London beginning in 2021. Already having connections with European, Far Eastern and Middle Eastern reinsurance markets, OYAK Group (Re)Insurance Brokerage will now also have a voice in the international arena with its Lloyd's market connections.
OYAK Group (Re)Insurance Brokerage has acquired an operating license as an authorized Lloyd’s broker as of April 2020, so along with its office in Türkiye, it will also provide its services from London, the heart of global insurance industry.
Ms. Almula Aslan, Deputy General Manager for Reinsurance and Business Development at OYAK Group Insurance and Reinsurance Brokerage Inc., said the firm takes pride in receiving Lloyd’s license as a national broker in Türkiye, which is currently held by only 335 insurance brokers out of approximately 300,000 brokers throughout the world, adding: “After entering the sector with decisive steps in 2017, our company has achieved phenomenal success in a very short time. It is a great honor to become an authorized broker for Lloyd's, which chooses its members diligently and is unique in the world with it's 300-year history.
